We give talks to community groups, to help people learn about how abuse can happen, and how to get help to be safe.
Talks are available Monday to Thursday, between 10 am and 5 pm. They are free of charge, and can be in person or online.
We cover:
- what abuse is and how it can happen
- people who are more at risk of it happening to them
- people who might be abusers, and where abuse can happen
- how to get help to be safe
We bring along leaflets for people to take away for their families, friends and neighbours.
Feedback about our talks has included "A difficult subject communicated well and nicely paced" and "We certainly learnt a few things".
