Using Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board content

In general we do not object to any party using or reproducing content on the Board website in order to help and protect adults at risk in Leeds or elsewhere in the country. We ask however the work produced by the Leeds Safeguarding Adults Board is attributed to us.  We would also ask that other Safeguarding Adults Boards who wish to use our content, advise us that this is the case, so that we can understand how our materials are being used and can gain feedback on their use and effectiveness.

The Board logo however can never be used without prior written permission from the Board. It is only intended to be used on official materials that are either approved by or produced on behalf of the Board. Enquiries about the use of the logo can be made using the Contact Us Form

Use of the Contact Us Form

The Contact Us Form must never be used to refer a safeguarding concern. The Board is not the right and proper body to receive that information, any party wishing to raise a safeguarding concern must contact Adults & Health direct. Please follow this link to the Leeds City Council: Adults & Health webpages for information about how to do this. Wrongly reporting safeguarding concerns to the Board rather than Leeds City Council: Adults & Health could result in that person being left at risk.

The Contact Us Form enquiries are managed by the LSAB Strategy Unit. It is not possible to guarantee an immediate response. No one will be available to receive your enquiries on weekends or bank holidays, and possibly during some holiday periods. We will always endeavour however to reply at the earliest opportunity but it may a few days, even during working periods, before this is possible.

Virus and malware protection

We make every effort to check and test the material on our site for malicious software or 'malware'. However, the Board cannot accept any responsibility or liability for any loss, disruption or damage to your computer system or information contained on it, which may occur as a result of using material from our site. It is always advisable to run an anti-virus program on any material downloaded from the internet.

If an email infected with malicious software is sent to us, it will be deleted automatically before it reaches our email system. If you don't receive acknowledgement of your email within 10 working days, please contact us.
